“In vain you rise early and stay up late,
toiling for food to eat—for he grants sleep to those he loves.”
~ Psalm 127:2 (NIV)
Do you ever have one of those days where you just lounge around in your pajamas and do nothing?
I’ll admit, those lazy days are few and far between, because they are pretty impractical.
However, a good lazy day now and again is awesome.
I had one earlier this month. I stayed in my pajamas, watched TV, and napped. It was great.
But the next day, I had to get back to reality.
And do you know what?
As much as I was dreading it, it wasn’t so bad.
The whole thing taught me a spiritual lesson I wasn’t expecting. Find out what it was by hoping over to Susan B. Mead’s blog where I’m guest posting today.
If you aren’t familiar with Susan’s blog, every week she hosts a Dance With Jesus linkup where other Christian bloggers can leave 1-3 encouraging posts. I link up there every week and always find some other great posts. I hope you’ll take a moment to hop on over and check out my post as well as visit some others.
